THANKS!!!!
We went to the 2003 reunion and had a blast! Looking forward to seeing everyone again! BIG THANKS to all of the folks on the committee for their hard work! Love the website - Great work everyone!
Hey Linda that was a great weather forecast you sent out. It will certainly be more accurate than anything Bob T. has done. Good thing he's not in charge of the weather for the Reunion. Yours looked much better. However his suggested fashions for you was about right.
Great website. Even I can follow it.
FIRST I AM HEARING ABOUT ANY REUNION!
Hi Sean . . .my autumn is going well despite also having to go through readjustments. It is good that your mom still has some friends in the area, and hopefully they are spry enough to bring her around to reintroduce her to the area. I was fortunate enough to run into an acquaintance on my first weekend back to Hudson in Shop Rite. We hit it off and went apple picking and have been doing lots of things since then. I have had the opportunity to eat at some of the local restaurants. The main street, Warren Street is full of these. . .of course some better than others. As far as strictly vegetarian, I am not sure of any, however, I know that the Red Dot offers dishes such as a curried vegetable dish that is simply scrumptious, as well as some delectable salads. Baba Louie's had fantastic vegetarian pizzas and salads. There is also a little tea house/café on third street, the Verdigris Café that on the day I visited, had a yummy veggie chili, as well as some hearty soups which were also vegetarian – split pea, and a equally yummy squash/carrot soup. It is a pleasant little café decorated with lots of art by local artist, as well a variety of gifts. There really are not any music cafes per se in Hudson, but there are occasional musical venues here and there. On upper Warren, the Wonderbar provides the best burgers in case your mom has a change of heart. I did have a delicious split pea soup there, and by the looks of the popularity of the martini there at lunchtime, I am guessing they make a good martini. Next door to Wonderbar is another café that serve teas and coffees, and offers comfortable seating to have a conversation with someone, or to bring a book or laptop. Cool bookstore would be Spotted Dog on Warren Street, where you can browse and also get a cup of coffee, tea or even a beer. Of course there are all the antique shops and art galleries on Warren Street to peruse. There is always something going on at the Opera House on Warren Street, whether it is an art class or a book reading. Since your mom is moving from Western Massachusetts, I am not sure if she is interested in Great Barrington or Stockbridge at all. It is close enough to Claverack to take a ride to. There she will find a great deal of interesting things that are worth a day trip. If you would like I can collect some of the informational magazine for your mom and either send them to you or her. Please let me know if I can be of any help. Since I am also returning after many years, I can only provide a few ideas. Hopefully others will provide their input. Lucy
Couldn't help myself with this one. Brings back so many memories of the Blue Anchor. OMG http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1Q7cP3ij5g

Looking forward to 2013!
Any body remember me? :-)
It's good to see a new reunion started, had a good time at the last one
I just finished uploading , to album 4, all of the pictures I took on Saturday's reunion day.
Added more pics today to album #4 also........Tomas
Sadly I was not able to attend the service, but my friends shared with me how spectacular it was. He was loved by so many people and deserved the fanfare farewell that he received. However sad it was, it also displayed a joyous celebration of his life, which was so appropriate. I was quite moved by what David Wrigley and Bob Tomaso shared with me about the service, and I know it was quite emotional for them both as well as for everyone. Before the reunion, I had not seen Bugsy in years, but remembered he was always so cheerful and could make you smile. When I saw him at the reunion – both Kozels and Polish Club, I saw that same cheerfulness, and I was so glad that I got to say hello to him and talk to him. Seeing his happiness gave me a feeling of relief and I knew he would go peacefully. Bugsy had such a positive attitude and enjoyed life. It was so great to see that Bugsy was enjoying his life even though he was on his final journey. I know I have not seen the emotions of all those closest to him who spent the last days with him, and cannot imagine what it was like. Bob said during the service, he was probably was looking down smiling, and I bet a tear came to his eye also. . . I am sure it was a tear of happiness. He was a very rich man, in that he was loved by so many people; and these friendships and relationships are worth more than anything. He shall always remain with everyone in spirit.
Hey everybody!Hope your autumn is going well -- we've had some pretty lovely weather in Eastern Massachusetts the past few weeks.Anyway, here's the deal: My mother has just moved back to Claverack full-time after spending most of the last several years living in Western Mass. While she still has some friends in the area, being home again will take some readjustment, i.e., finding activities and places to go that will be stimulating and enjoyable for her.For those of you who might remember her from Columbia-Greene Community College, or those halcyon Claverack School days, she's still as active, independent and free-spirited as ever, even at 76. She's lived in places like Somalia, Afghanistan, even Northern Iraq, and follows world events avidly. She's definitely not ready to just sit out on the front porch and knit.So if y'all have any suggestions for interesting things for her to check out -- music cafes? cool bookstores? good vegetarian restaurants? -- I'd love to pass some along to her. Thanks!Sean

I've marked by calendar! :)
Does anybody have a real good picture of me? I don't hahhahaha!!!! Hey this site is the spam oops or is that the bomb can't remember - another senior moment- ugh I said that. Thanks to all you working to make a fun time. High to the COSMO girls
I will be unable to attend this year. I did go to the 20th and the 30th and had a great time at both. Nice picture of me, Moe, Lester and Mike practicing for the big GIG at Jamesway. (Moe wanted us all to go to Woodstock later that year) Senior year it was "Tobacco Road" with Doug Garrison, Benny Poppa, Billy McGee and Jim Calvin(Taconic Hills).
Greetings from sunny Florida. I will not be able to attend this years reunion, but I had a wonderful time in 2003. Thanks to all who put so much work and effort into a wonderful party.
Have no fear; Lucy is still here. A little birdie named Drew from one of the Carolina states called me up yesterday to tell me about recent activity here. Believe me, I feel very disconnected from a great deal of things and people. Has it really been almost 7 months since the reunion? Time flies by so quickly, and that certainly is an over 50 thing. Hey Sean and Kiss . . . you guys are a couple of wooses. You cannot tolerate the northeast winters? I absolutely love this cold weather . . . so far. I am happy I traded in all my experiences in Florida, contending with hurricanes, alligators, poisonous snakes and spiders in the house, and humidity, not to mention bad memories. [this is not the place to reveal ] I consider Hudson my safe haven. I am glad to have been reunited with family and friends. I only wish I had more time on my hands. . . .there are never enough hours in the day, and it makes me upset that our bodies actually need sleep. I could accomplish so much more with those extra hours . . . . like keeping in touch with people, and checking out the decade website. I have not written anything in ages. Not here, not on my blog, not anywhere . . . and that makes me sad because that was my sanity. Anyway, Kiss, thank you for inviting people to harass me. Its okay. Maybe it is just what I need. Thanks for noticing I have been out of loop. So now you have heard from Drew and Lucy. Two angels down, one to go. Cameron, where are you? Sorry I cancelled out on the hot tub/wine session. Next week?
Seems the nice weather yesterday has everyone coming out of the woodwork. While I was walking, some dirty old man driving by offered me some candy to lure me into his vehicle. No sooner did my hackle go up as I was ready to pull some angel's moves on him, that I realized it was the harmless Mr. Crank.
Our friend, Elizabeth Diver, Class of '71, would appreciate hearing from friends, as she's been recovering from a couple of small strokes. Please write to Betsy at: 215 Constant Ave. Staten Island, NY. 10314
class of 65 any reunions planned for 60's ? St Mary's

It's nice to see familiar faces :)
Hey Kiss! Don't count the Angels out yet - I have been checking now and again to see if there have been any updates! Lucy is very busy - she keeps me updated on calls when she is driving home from work. Cameron is busy with work and studying. Me, I'm just patiently waiting for beach weather! I hope everyone is doing well! Stay warm!
I have yet to go to a reunion, but I do take great joy in looking at the photos. I often see relatives, by blood and marriage, in the pics! I loved spotting Karen (G); Rita!!(L), and Diane (B) of the 1970 grads. Many I didn't recognize, but those three looked the same! And how nice to see Marueen, who I used to work with at COARC. I am retired and living in Eastport, Maine. It reminds me of a small-scaled Hudson, much smaller, but with a great body of water quite near...actually surrounding the causeway island. Again, thank you for posting! Also, my heart and memories goes out to all those fine personalities who have passed on over the decades... several leave me with endearing stories.
Lost some hair, gained some weight, feeling pretty.........ok. Can't find my yearbooks so cut me some slack if I don't recognize you. Was the last reunoin that long ago?
We went to the 2003 reunion and had a blast! Looking forward to seeing everyone again! BIG THANKS to all of the folks on the committee for their hard work! Love the website - Great work everyone!

Hi Sean . . .my autumn is going well despite also having to go through readjustments. I was fortunate enough to run into an acquaintance on my first weekend back to Hudson in Shop Rite. We hit it off and went apple picking and have been doing lots of things since then.
St Mary's
