Hey you guys, what a great party. Thanks to all who made it happen. Five years seems too long to do it again? For those looking for an adventure in the Adirondacks, I'll be bringing my band to "The Galley" in beautiful Westport NY right on Lake Champlain on August 2....loved to see you all...peaceGeorge W.

A year gone by already. OMG!!! Thanks Shiela for the website and the continued memories. I just sat and went thru all the pictures again just to relive it all over. What a fantastic time.   Class of 1975, get ready. Preliminary plans for some sort of a Class of 75 reunion next July. Maybe a co-ed golf thing the day before and then a get together on that Saturday. 

One year ago on Sept. 2, 2008 many of us lost our good friend and HHS classmate Jim Bugsy Porreca after his 8 month battle with pancreatic cancer. This past weekend the Town Of Greenport  held a ceremony dedicating a water fall park and  ball feilds to Bugsy.......the JAMES PORRECA MEMORIAL FIELD. His name now lives on forever in the park  and town  that he  dedicated much of his time to. If anyone is in town stop and check it out  at the Town  of Greenport  Park on Joslen Blvd. A fantastic memorial to our old  pal Bugsy ! Will post some photos on here when  I get time.

Sean . . . .isn’t it funny how we relate certain things to people or things in our lives?  In your case, you are fortunate that Kyle (the boyfriend) was not as destructive as a hurricane.  When I first moved to Florida in 2004, we got hit immediately by Hurricane Charlie, the day after our dog Charlie ran away.    I believed at the time, it was an omen of things to come.  Looking back at how tumultuous my life has been since I have been here is evidence enough to confirm my belief. Enjoy your jam at the pub.   Maybe some of us here from Hudson can take a trip to MA to see you play some day.      Lucy

I just heard about Sara Witham, and found a story in the online Register Star. I didn't know her all that well, but she was somebody who, when I did talk with her, made you think, "I'm glad this person is in my universe." I am so sorry for her kids and all the families involved.

That's cute Bob, real cute!...you got issues Bob!, for real!  Theresa that's grounds to leave his ass!, and Tomaso how long did it take to blow her up?! :) , P.S.- the boots and jeans ain't your style homeboy! ...and don't let me catch you on lower Warren St.!!!        

I agree with Bob and Sean about this summers event. There is no doubt it was worth all the work put into it by the entire committee. Bugsy and Scarp are just two examples of why it was worth it. There are undoubtedly many many more.Well, on an entirely differant note, Lucy is headed home. I am sure once she arrives Hudson will change forever. It's surely never to be the same. Does anyone remember the translation  of “Ich bin ein Berliner” something said my John F. Kennedy in West Berlin?  In the context of his address, it meant "I am a Berliner. "  Urban  legend stated the literal translation as "I am a jelly donut.”  As many of you might know, I am returning to Hudson.  Somehow the translation of that got slanted and had turned into I am moving to Hudson to be with a particular person.  This make me feel like the jelly donut.       My plans to return to Hudson were in place long before I connected with anyone from the reunion.  As some of you might be curious, I just wanted to clarify a couple of things: 1.       No,  I am not pregant. 2.       No, I am not returning to Hudson to be with any particular person.  You have to put the past behind you, before you move on . . . . my past is Florida . . .my future is unknown.    My family and roots are in Hudson, and this is a great place of comfort for me, and a great place to think about what will be next.

okay. . . . at what point do you realize you have become insane?  Is it when you realize that you are packing at 3:00 am with just underwear and faux pink crocs (they came with my canoe) on, or is it when you are repacking and packing and have come across your 5th mug from the reunion of 2003?  and cameron, what is a DD?
