hey everyone hit me up at kmat5@yahoo.com
Hi Sue, I was in N.C. for that week, beats fireworks! .......Tomaso if i catch you on lower Warren st. i'm taking your lunch money!!!!!, then you'll have no money for the reunion! :)
Great job! Thanks to the entire reunion committee for an outstanding event. The band on Saturday was first rate and, of course, my favorite part was George's blues harmonica and singing! I'm looking forward to the next one.
Well now that I have had a day to catch up on some rest it's time to say some thanks you's and share some memories. As I said before many.many thanks to the committee. Awesome job once again. You guys need to be very proud of yourselfs and the job you all did.It was great to see so many people getting together solely for the purpose of rekindling old friendship and beginning new ones. Old stories were told and new ones created and that is what makes this whole event worth it and so special. The only thing I am sorry about is that so many decided for whatever reason not to attend, hopefully they will make the next one.Tomaso, don't change and keep up the good work. Shiela, there is no doubt you are the spark behind the scenes don't put that fire out. Pooch, keep bossing everyone around and keep em' moving. Nancy and Sue thanks for getting my buddy AnneMarie up, it is always a pleasure to get to speak with and see her. Shelly,Chief(Dancing Harry), and the rest of the gang who looked out for me years ago and have remained friends ALL these years. Ronnie,Jeff and Pretty Smitty thanks for the hoop memories. We will always be in HHS history as one of the best, if not the best team ever. I think everyone had it wrong though,Murph is the best player. Jeff be real careful of what or maybe who is in the bushes. Laurie,Jean,Paula and Cathy you guys together are pure trouble, all in good fun, I think. After spending so much time with you guys I will scared for life. Ed,Coonhead,Gunner,Burro,Fincky all I can say is WOW!!! what memories and stories. Linda you sure did turn a lot of heads, you sure got it going on. Judy, or is it Judith, looking good baby. Gotta throw Kim in that little group too. George and his harmonicas sure did bring some energy to the whole party, he is awesome. Class of 75' lets make that reunion(35th) happen in 2010. Tina,Laurie Dave, and others have all voted Pete,Judy and Dave to head this up. They may not know it but they do now.I'm sure I forgot things so I'll be back.Let's not forget the Pollock Club, fantastic job. Special thanks to my brother Ned for his crew.OK so what's the date for the next one.
So sorry I couldn't make the party...prior committment... but it's so great to be able to see all the pictures !! Some of you haven't really changed at all. Kudos to Shiela and all the other committee members !!!! A big HELLO to all of the Class of 72 , Helen, and Mame.
Oh, one interesting thing I learned Saturday: Thanks to their phys ed classes, St. Mary's girls apparently learned to be pretty good pool sharks.Where was Professor Harold Hill when we needed him? "Oh, we got trouble...with a capital 'T' and that rhymes with 'P' and that stands for 'pool'!"
You know, I think the phrase "high school reunion" just doesn't do this event justice. What you had on Saturday was a place where all the social categories and sub-stratas that seemed so important in the past -- jock, nerd, hippie, etc. -- just didn't matter anymore. What did matter was that it felt perfectly natural to tell the person in front of you what he/she meant to you, what place in your memories he/she occupies; and it was OK to speak of all those small kindnesses which, in some way or another, made a difference during the high school years. People need to be able to hear, and to say, those kinds of things. As wonderful as it was to see and talk to people you remembered well, it was equally delightful -- and enlightening -- to meet classmates with whom you had little or no previous rapport. Again, it felt perfectly natural to reintroduce ourselves, because we all shared this time and place in our lives. Any time I leave an event having more friends than when I entered is time well spent, as far as I'm concerned.High school reunion? I think it's more like a valuable social/psychological service -- maybe there's a state or federal support grant in there somewhere. So, the organizers definitely deserve credit -- not just for the work, but for making a true, honest investment in the event and for realizing that in addition to being a fun summer's day it has real personal value. My time in the Claverack/Hudson schools was relatively brief (7 years) in comparison to probably most here, and incomplete -- I transferred after sophomore year. But what I came away with Saturday was the realization that my connection to this place is stronger than I thought it was. Anyway, sorry for prattling on. I think middle age activates the sentimentality gland. Thanks, cheers, look after yourselves. One other thing vis a vis this Web site: I know there's a "Help Us Locate" page, but would it be possible to add a "Have You Heard from This Person?" section as well? There were several people (Eileen Avery, Pam Moore, Tony Ziemba, Bill Bucholz, to name a few) I'd hoped to see Saturday. Of course, if they weren't wearing name tags...
Im putting out something on the site but I know more people read this page :) right now As part of the committee I want to thank everyone for making it such a success. We all have a great time putting this together... But this could not have been done without Matt Murell at the reigns and thats not always the most popular place to be.. He is the rock behind it all. THere are so many little things that have to be taken care of at an event this large and he makes sure its all done!!! He has spent so much time making calls, planning meetings, getting all the so-called Back office work done ..The Budget for this event is a huge undertaking and he always makes sure it works!!!!!..He takes the responsibility of that worry on himself. He is the silent and patient one of us.. You have NO IDEA what its like trying to keep a committee meeting in order..I cant count how many times Matt would say " ok... lets get back to the agenda"..we are a loud bunch and not always easy to keep quiet :) Sometimes we have tried his patience.. Im sure.. but he never lost his temper on us Personally.... I want to thank Matt for being a great leader and a great friend.. a few times(ok maybe more than a few) I was losing it and he was always there to say " ok Sheila Calm down its not that big of a deal ,Ill take care of it or well get through it" and he was right !! He has been my support through all of this. Poor Matt, that was his toughest job. He will be glad to not see my number on his caller ID!!!!! Luckily our committee is comprised of a bunch of really great people.... who work together, work hard and like each other..We are all a great team and love doing what we do.. but Every committee needs a leader.. Matt was ours... Thanks Matt from all of us PS to Matt... I have to admit ... as much as I loved hearing from you.. I wont miss the three calls a day saying "Hey Pal, whats the count up to now" hahahaYour the best MATT!!!!!(VASILOW... I can delete you remember )
Thanks so much for all the kind comments... I know the committee really appreciates it.. Its hard work to find addresses and try to get in touch with people... unfortunately we couldnt find everyone and some people didnt get notified.. I just hope these people get in touch with their class and let them know where they are for the next time... The website hopefully will be a great tool for our next reunion
Ha! Thanks so much, Lucy, that was great. If you want to further indulge yourselves in album covers of questionable judgment, there's this site:http://www.zonicweb.net/badalbmcvrs/Even better (I use that word advisedly), you can listen to some really bad music:http://www.zonicweb.net/badalbmcvrs/badmusicradio.htmIf you've never heard William (Captain Kirk) Shatner, um, sing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," you haven't lived a full life.
just for more fun!http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/listoftheday/93331/25-most-controversial-album-covers/

David . . . I guess we do not have to guess why your mind is still a little foggy! wink, wink . . . . . xoxoLucy Lui, Drew and Cameron. Wow! the moon is still so bright tonight!p.s. care for a dip?

1:00 AM - Monday morning.I just returned home to Florida still quite elated from the weekend! What a fabulous time I had! I cannot begin to say how fabulous. Thanks is owed to sooooo many people. Again, thanks to the committee and their hard work and dedication, and thank you for keeping me in the loop - it made me feel like an honorary committee member.Sheila, I know you said no love letters, but I must admit I am quite flattered. Keep them coming . . . it makes me feel SO YOUNG!!! There were so many fun moments and now there are so many memories. From the moment I arrived, exiting my father's red mini van, I received insults from Tomaso regarding my party girl reputation. As I explained to him I never take my porsch out in the rain! And my daddy got to chaffeur 2 young chicks to the party. So many people made me laugh. I swear the entire time, I walked around with a smile on my face, and still have one. Oh, and the bathroom . . .I loved that air conditioned bathroom!Everything was perfect! Kiss, I am so glad that the angels and Paula helped make the day fun. We are a bit crazy, but it is all innocent . . . except for Laurie who cannot stop thinking about licking your teeth!Bob . . .what can I say about Bob . . . oh gosh, don't get me started. . .I had a blast with you. . . your incessant teasing, your quest to find me a man, singing with the class of 74, the soul train "whatever you call that thing we did" - dance down the aisle of people -too tired to remember what it is called. Oh, and I never did find out who he was??? You know what I am talking about. Oh and a special thank you Bob for that message from Jim Vasilow. Thank you Jim for delivering that message. You were clear, succint and TO THE POINT! Bob - what a disappointment that I missed the wet "T" contest . . .but I am sure you and Pizza man looked quite sexy in yours! So much more to say, but I have to go nighty night . . . . work tomorrow. . .no more play.Oh . . .I have pictures! I will download them tomorrow. fun! fun! fun!
Sheila, what an excellent job you did,we take we take our hats off to you! You are the man (woman), not Mr. T., it was a friggin blast this past weekend!! Seen a lot of long time friends. It's cool to still be cool w/ people for 35-40 yrs. I went home smiling afterwards thinking about the conversations I had w/friends that started with, "REMEMBER WHEN" ....... I heard and told some great stories (they get better w/the years!.) Last night it was funny when Smitty and Kondo were arguing w/ Ronnie about who was the best in little league, my cuzn Vance said he was and still is the best in everything, Mike Scalera. saying Cazzy was the best hoop player but we didn't pass him the ball (true story). Paul, it was a pleasure ya dig! I haven't been called Humphrey Bogart and Jeffro in a while. I enjoyed seeing Anne and Moose Lynn, the Drabic clan, Steve Beecher, Ann-Marie Tanner, George's harmonica performance, Matt Murell, The Tamburro's, Debbie, Mark Deus., to RonnieKeithDank, my brothers for life, love y'all. Well spring has finally arrived. Thank God. I for one have had enough of winter. So are there any events scheduled that would be of interest to the Decade of the 70's gang?I know Rusty has his anuual golf outing but other than that I know of nothing else.To the Class of 75', is ther an interest in a 35 year reunion next summer? I'll help organize, provided there is the interest and others will help.
laurie sorry i spelled ur namewrong my mind was still all little foggy i hope u had as much fun as the other 2 angels lol wrigs
Bruce - R/T airfare from Newburgh to Orlando is only $79.00 on JetBlue. A modest price to pay to indulge your libido...
Hey Judy, I feel that I can safely speak for all of us in the Class of '75 when I say that it was great to see you again after 5 years. I'll mirror Bruce Hallenbeck's remarks that Baby, you looked mahvelous! Godspeed in your travels back to Lake Mary.
Angels,I have the first mission. I cannot post it here as some may attempt to knock it off track. There is no doubt that should this be pulled off it will be a ton of fun.We have plenty of time to formulate a plan and execute it.
I had an incredible time! It was so exciting to see everyone again after so many years! Even though we have all gotten older, it seemed as though no time had really passed because the close camaraderie of us all still remained after 33 years! I will upload all the pictures I took from Saturday's reunion as soon as i get home to lake mary, Fl.
Hey Kiss....I wanna lick your teeth!!!!!!!!
Mr. Tomaso has been taking a loooooong nap this afternoon....no longer use to being out two nights in a row. Mourning the loss of my walkie talkie......no more 1 Adam 12, 1 Adam 12. 74 pics up later this week.......sorry I am old school using film ! :~) Pay attention also for official Fondel picture from 1974, that picture was supposed to be our promotional pic for our world tour, seems as if things did not work out that way, but a GREAT picture none the less courtesy of the Danny Chidester archives. Thanks again to fellow committee members for all the hard work, thanks to everyone in attendance, hope you all enjoyed. Special thanks to the following:Larry Robinson and Billy Taylor for NOT forcing me into the triple jump competition, sparing me the embarasment of out jumping them by two feet; to Jeff, Ronnie, Keith , Vance and Gregory for graciously stepping aside as the NEW king of da hood took his thrown; Miss Bell for NOT making me square dance; to the P-Club for putting up with us especially Sheila driving for "TOMAS - CAM"; to EVERYONE for listening to our not so sweet sounding versions of the CLass of 74 theme song "COME AND GET YOUR LOVE "; to Rita LaCasse, winner of this years WET T-SHIRT contest (Lucy Lui, where did you go? You snuck out before the contest even went down); to the Hudson Register STar for the nice article and picture in Sunday's paper; to the lovely Ms. Russo for making the skinny, geeky guy from 9th grade homeroom feel good all these years later even now when he is a skinny , geeky, bald headed old dude; to Mariah for posing on my lap......and a special thank you to the CLASS of 1974 !!!!!!
Had agreat time again would like to thank lori maria and lucy lui for making this party extra special
Looking forward to seeing all my party friends and talking about old times.

Drew, Cameron and I were quite disappointed that the "big talkers" Larry, Moe and Curly never showed their faces! Have no fear as we had enough men to keep us entertained and to buy us drinks . . .nyuk, nyuk, nyuk!!!!
David . . . I guess we do not have to guess why your mind is still a little foggy! wink, wink . . . . . xoxoLucy Lui, Drew and Cameron. Wow! the moon is still so bright tonight!p.s. care for a dip?
hey everyone hit me up at kmat5@yahoo.com
Hi Sue, I was in N.C. for that week, beats fireworks! .......Tomaso if i catch you on lower Warren st. i'm taking your lunch money!!!!!, then you'll have no money for the reunion! :)
